Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 yellow or white onions
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (1 can)
  • 14.5 oz red kidney beans (1 can)
  • 14.5 oz chili beans (1 can)
  • 1 habanero pepper
  • 2 Jalapeno peppers
  • 16 oz bacon
  • 42 oz ground beef or ground turkey
  • 4 oz beer
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1.5 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 0.5 Tbsp. cumin
  • 0.5 Tbsp. oregano
  • 0.5 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 Tbsp. pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375, bake bacon on a sheet for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Brown the beef or turkey in a pan on medium high heat. Strain out most of the fat.
  3. Chop the onions, jalapenos, and habanero.
  4. When the bacon is done, chop it into small pieces.
  5. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, cook on low for 7-8 hours.
