Chili
Ingredients
- 2 yellow or white onions
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (1 can)
- 14.5 oz red kidney beans (1 can)
- 14.5 oz chili beans (1 can)
- 1 habanero pepper
- 2 Jalapeno peppers
- 16 oz bacon
- 42 oz ground beef or ground turkey
- 4 oz beer
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1.5 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 0.5 Tbsp. cumin
- 0.5 Tbsp. oregano
- 0.5 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 0.5 Tbsp. pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375, bake bacon on a sheet for 20-25 minutes.
- Brown the beef or turkey in a pan on medium high heat. Strain out most of the fat.
- Chop the onions, jalapenos, and habanero.
- When the bacon is done, chop it into small pieces.
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, cook on low for 7-8 hours.
